What is Mise-en-scene?
Mise-en-scene is everything the audience sees and experience during watching. The 2 major components are design and composition. Design is the props, make up, costumes. While composition is the organization. Mise-en-scene is a way that makes the audience believe all the things are real. It is important for mise-en-scene to be a part of the story. Genre also influence the mise-en-scene in a film.
Design
Design is the "look of the setting, props, lighting and actors. In every movie set there is a production designer. The designers design the movie (costumes, setting, props, etc.).
